SPILANTHES
Spilanthes acmella
Liquid extract of fresh whole flowering herb with root.

Actions: Stimulating alterative tonic. Enhances immune system function; antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral; antimalarial. Because of their high isobutylamide content, Spilanthes and Prickly Ash have similar stimulating and therapeutic actions (see Prickly Ash).

Uses: General infection fighter. Fungus infections: candida, thrush, ringworm and athlete's foot. Cold sores and herpes. Colds, flu and respiratory infections; ear infections. Prevention and treatment of malaria and Lyme's disease. Diminished secretions of mucous membranes.

Dose: Take 30 to 40 drops, 2 to 5 times per day. Topically apply full-strength extract if well tolerated, or dilute with 1 or 2 parts water.
