Rhodiola

RHODIOLA
Rhodiola rosea
Liquid extract of dried root.

Actions: Adaptogenic tonic that improves energy level, endurance and stamina, work productivity, mood, mental clarity, attention span, and memory. Antioxidant. Antifatigue.

Uses: Indicated in physical and mental stress and fatigue. To improve mental, athletic and work performance; to facilitate learning and memory. To treat certain cases of neurasthenia and chronic fatigue. Hypoxia (oxygen deprivation) in high altitudes. As adjunct therapy in treatment of low sexual libido and menopause.

Dose: Take 30 to 40 drops, 2 to 4 times per day.

Cautions: Although not a nervous system stimulant, certain over-anxious individuals may experience increased anxiety when taking Rhodiola. If this occurs, try taking a lower dose and then slowly increase the dosage to tolerance.
