Muira Puama
MUIRA PUAMA
Ptychopetalum olacoides
Liquid extract of dried stem with bark.

Actions: Soothing nervous system tonic. Enhances sexual libido in men and women. Aromatic stomachic and carminative. Antirheumatic.

Uses: Sexual weakness, impotency or performance anxiety in men, and lack of sexual desire or frigidity in women. Premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and menstrual cramps. Neurasthenia (nervous exhaustion) and nervous depression. Neuralgia. Adjunct therapy in arthritis and rheumatism. Nervous stomach and diarrhea.

Dose: As a tonic take 30 to 60 drops, 2 or 3 times per day. As a stimulant, take 60 drops in hot water.
