MARSHMALLOW
Althaea officinalis
Liquid extract of fresh root.

Actions: Very mucilaginous and demulcent; expectorant; mild astringent. Soothing to gastrointestinal, bronchi and urinary tracts. Enhances immune system response.

Uses: Inflammation and irritation of membranes of gastrointestinal, bronchi and urinary tracts; dry coughs; dry sore throat; stomach ulcers; diarrhea; cystitis and burning urine. Weak immune system.

Dose: Take 30 to 60 drops, 2 to 5 times per day.

Cautions: None known.
