Oplopanax horridus
Liquid extract of dried root bark (no adhering wood)


Actions: Alterative, rejuvenating tonic that enhances physical endurance, stamina and overall good health, and optimizes longevity. In larger doses acts as a mild laxative.

Uses: Arthritis and rheumatism; fevers, colds, flu and coughs; hangover; stomach ailments; swollen glands; measles. Regulate menses after childbirth. Popular as Native American folk remedy for the control of diabetes.

Dose: Take 30 to 40 drops, 3 to 5 times per day.

Cautions: Do not change medical treatment of diabetes (especially insulin dosage) without the advice of a qualified physician. Diabetics should monitor their blood sugar level and insulin needs carefully while taking Devil's Club.
