DEVIL'S CLAW
Harpagophytum procumbens
Liquid extract of dried, secondary tuber (not root).

Actions: Anti-inflammatory, antirheumatic and analgesic. Promotes appetite and digestion (especially fats). Metabolic cleanser/detoxifier of blood, lymph, pancreas, liver and kidneys.

Uses: Arthritis and rheumatic problems; tendonitis; lower back pain. Poor appetite. Slow metabolism. Insufficient production of bile and related problems of digestion. Acne, psoriasis and other skin problems.

Dose: Take 30 to 40 drops, 2 to 4 times per day.

Cautions: Consult a physician before taking in cases of gastric or duodenal ulcers. Large doses may produce colic in cases of gallstones or obstruction of bile ducts or intestines.
